Until this day, the investigation has not been completed.Before the attack, Dejan Anastasijevic got a couple of threatening phone calls, and unknown individuals were asking questions about him in the phone calls made to the Vreme newsroom. There was a doubt that the motives for the bomb attack were connected to his public statements regarding the Scorpions case and the fact that he was a witness of Hague Tribunal. It was never determined for sure what the motives were.Dejan Anastasijevic, journalist of “Vreme” magazine and former Tanjug correspondent from Brussels, was also a war reporter on the territory of SFRJ in the 90’s. He was a witness of Hague Tribunal in the cases against Milosevic, while right before the attack, he was writing about criminal and war crimes.</article>
