Cesid: Prime Minister Vucic will be the next President of Serbia

The new president of Serbia will be the current Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, according to preliminary results.

The Belgrade based Center for Free Elections and Democracy (CESID) stated on Sunday evening that, according to the current results, the winner of the elections will be the ruling coalition’s candidate, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.

Cesid’s representative Djordje Vukovic said that, according to 72.2 per cent of votes that have been counted so far, PM Vucic won 56.1 per cent of the votes. In the second place is the former Serbian Ombudsman, Sasa Jankovic, with 15.2 per cent of the votes.

Serbian conceptual politician “Whitey the Flip-Flopper” is the third with 9.5 per cent, achieving a better result than the former Chairman of the UN General Assembly, Vuk Jeremic, who won 5.8 per cent.

According to Cesid, the result will vary but not by more than one or two per cents.
